Skyward Information: Directory/Publicity Form

Dear CV families,

We are writing regarding the form in Skyward for Directory Information/Publicity. For those who have not already completed this form, we want to make you aware that this year we transitioned to an “opt out” process, meaning that you only need to check the box associated with this form if you do not want your child included in directory information/publicity. Please note: This question has always been a part of our annual sign-off process. However, in previous years parents were required to opt in each year.

The form in Skyward details what is classified as directory information and how this information might be used for publicity. However, examples of where components of directory information might be published are yearbooks, academic/athletic programs, playbills, District website, honor roll/recognition lists, etc. This year, you do not need to check the box on this specific form if you are giving permission for your child’s directory information to be provided in district/external publications, including yearbook, honor roll, graduation lists, and other locations as listed on the form.

This form is effective with the first day of school, Monday, August 19, 2019.
