Have a Great Summer, Hampden!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR RETIREES!
Congratulations to Mrs. Crider (Kindergarten), Mrs. Musser (Reading Specialist), Mrs. Silva (Building Aide) and Mrs. Henry (Principal) who are all retiring this school year.  Mrs. Crider has been teaching at Hampden for 19 years.  Mrs. Musser has been an educator for 42 years, 11 of those at CV.  Mrs. Silva has been at Hampden for 23.5 years and Mrs. Henry has been an educator for almost 40 years in the capacity as both a teacher and a principal at CV.  We have been very fortunate at Hampden to be the beneficiary of their experience and expertise.  Hampden wishes them all the best and will miss them greatly!

MESSAGE FROM MRS. HENRY
After nearly 40 years as a educator, I have made the decision to begin the next chapter of my life.  My last day at Hampden will be July 3.  This is truly a bittersweet decision -- the classroom, after all, has been my second home for many years.  In the last few years of my tenure at CV, it has been my pleasure to work with the very talented and dedicated group of staff that is here at Hampden. I am proud of the school community we have built and am confident that through the ongoing efforts of the amazing team I leave behind, Hampden will continue to flourish.  Lastly, thank you for sharing your children with me.  I will cherish the relationships that I have made with so many families through the years, especially those from Hampden.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
