It's the Last Week of School, Hampden!
HAMPDEN YEARBOOK DELIVERY
Hampden Elementary 2018/2019 yearbooks are being distributed and sent home today (Tuesdsay, June 4) for students who ordered them earlier this year. There will be a limited number of yearbooks offered for sale on Wednesday morning, June 5. Yearbooks will be sold in reverse grade order (beginning with 5th grade) until supplies run out. The cost to purchase a yearbook on Wednesday is $20. Please send exact cash (no change will be available) or a check made payable to "Hampden Elementary PTO" with your student to school on Wednesday. As our supply will be limited, yearbooks will be sold to STUDENTS ONLY in the order indicated above.
ATTENTION 5TH GRADE PARENTS: PARKING FOR 5th GRADE GRADUATION
For our 5th Grade Graduation Ceremony on Friday, June 7 at 9:30 AM, parking will be available in the back of Hampden Elementary beginning at 9:00 AM after all buses have left. As you enter our parking lot, proceed straight back along the right-side of the building. We will have parking attendants on duty to assist you.
5TH GRADE PARENT NIGHT AT GOOD HOPE IS JUNE 5
5th Grade Parent Night is June 5 at 7:00 PM at the Good Hope MS Auditorium. This presentation is intended for parents to discuss the transition to middle school with topics including courses, schedules, grading, daily logistics, etc. Other upcoming events include:
- Mountain View Middle School Open House/Tours -- July 16, 25 and August 5
- New Student Orientation -- Tuesday, August 13 at Mountain View Middle School

DON'T FORGET -- LAST DAY OF SCHOOL IS THIS FRIDAY!
Believe it or not, the last day of the 2018-19 school year is this Friday, June 7. Students will be dismissed at noon and there will be no PM Kindergarten.
CV CHEER CAMP
The Cumberland Valley High School Cheerleaders are excited to offer an introduction to cheerleading for both elementary and middle school students August 7 & 8 from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the new Mountain View Middle School on Bali Hai Road. The purpose of the cheer camp is to provide two full days of instruction on jumps, motions, stunts, chants and dance. Campers will also have the opportunity to cheer under the lights with the Varsity cheerleaders on Friday, August 30 in Chapman Stadium. BUS DRIVERS NEEDED
Kauffman Bus is looking for bus drivers for the Cumberland Valley School District. Approximate driving hours are 6:45 - 9:00 AM and 2:30 - 4:30 PM. Kauffman Bus offers a sign-on bus and pays for your training licensing. This is a great job for retirees and stay-at-home parents who would like to have summers and holidays off.
