Monday, June 3 – Talent Show, 1:00 – 3:30. 4th and 5th grade students will perform for the students and staff. Please email either Gail ([email protected]) or Jen ([email protected]) to pre-register.

Tuesday, June 4 – Elementary Band and Orchestra Concert at the High School Performing Arts Center, 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, June 5 – 5th Grade Graduation Assembly, 2:00 pm.

Thursday, June 6 – Last day of school for PM Kindergarten students!

Friday, June 7Last day of school. AM and Extended Day Kindergarten students attend school on this day. All students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. NO LUNCH will be served.

Lunch account balances – parents please check your email or your schoolcafe.com account for balance reminders. Many accounts have a negative balance at the end of the school year. If you have any questions, please call 717-258-6208 and choose option #5.


From the PTO:

Spring Fair Survey – We would like to know your opinions of this year’s fair so we can better plan for next year. Please complete this short survey.

Walk for Monroe 2019 – A “packet stuffing” party will be held at the Monroe Township building in mid-August. Date and time will be posted on Facebook. Contact Tami ([email protected]) with any questions.

Volunteer Appreciation Night – If you volunteered in any capacity this school year, we hope you will join us for “App-y Hour” at T. J. Rockwells on Tuesday, June 4 at 6:30 pm. The PTO will provide appetizers. You will be responsible for beverages. Thank you for a wonderful year!


From the Nurse
:

End of year medication pick-up (**only applies to students with medications in the nurse’s office). If you received a note from Mrs. Boyd regarding your child’s medications in the nurse’s office, please remember to indicate a date/time (last day of school or day before depending on medication) for pick-up. Otherwise, the medications will be disposed of.

A reminder to parents of current 5th grade students. All students are required to have a physical exam prior to entering 6th grade. Please click here for the form that must be completed by your health care provider.

 

District News:

CV CHEER CAMP
The Cumberland Valley High School Cheerleaders are excited to offer an introduction to cheerleading for both elementary and middle school students August 7 & 8 from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the new Mountain View Middle School on Bali Hai Road.  The purpose of the cheer camp is to provide two full days of instruction on jumps, motions, stunts, chants and dance.  Campers will also have the opportunity to cheer under the lights with the Varsity cheerleaders on Friday, August 30 in Chapman Stadium.  For more information about the camp and for the registration form, please click here.

Fun Run/Walk
The forecast looks good and rumor has it that we will have some free Starbucks coffee, music, and a lot of people having a great time for a good cause at our Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, June 1 at Winding Creek.  Registration is at 8:00 am and the race begins at 9:00 am.  To pre-register for the event, click here.  Online registration closes this evening - we hope to see everyone there!
