Kits for Kids Donations

Attention Gator Families,

Girl Scout Troop #11414, with young students from both Green Ridge Elementary and Winding Creek Elementary, is working with UPMC Pinnacle Hospital on behalf of Kits for Kids. This local scout troop is working towards completing their Take Action Service Project badge. The girls have selected the Kits for Kids program. What is the Kits for Kids Program? The kits are small activity bags, given to kids in the hospital or ER, to help keep them busy during their stay. What do we need? We need your help filling the bags for the kids.  Here are a few ideas of things to donate: card games, pens/pencils, crayons/markers, coloring books/pages, small hand held activities, small books, small sized journals/notebooks, trucks/cars, small dolls, small hand held games, stress balls/squishes and also gallon size zip loc bags (to pack for delivery to kids). The Troop has placed a small donation box in the lobby of each school. We’ve also included handmade flyers to assist with item selection. Any item can help. Please consider making a donation today! All items should small enough to fit in a gallon size Ziploc bag. Thank you for your help!
