It's a Busy Week at Hampden!

NOTE FROM OUR SCHOOL NURSE REGARDING MEDICATION AT SCHOOL
Please contact the school nurse before sending medication to school. Parent drop off is preferred, but if you must send a medication with your child, please let me know it’s coming so we can be sure it gets to the health room.  Medications require a physician/provider order and written parent permission to be given at school. I cannot give a medication without an order. Medications must be in the original pharmacy container labeled with your child’s name.  For more information, please refer to the district’s medication policy at https://www.cvschools.org/student_services/nurses/medication_policy.  Medication forms are found at the district website under Student Services > nurses > health forms. JOIN US FOR HAMPDEN'S MUSICAL -- FRIDAY, MARCH 29
Join us this Friday, March 29 at 7:00 PM for Hampden Elementary's musical, Willy Wonka, KIDS, based on the beloved classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder, in addition to a host of fun new songs, the show is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.  Admission is free for the entire family!

4TH GRADE INTRAMURALS

CAKE WALK VOLUNTEER NEEDED FOR FAMILY FUN NIGHT
The Family Fun Night committee is in need of a volunteer to coordinate the Cake Walk event for the evening of May 17th.  Many students look forward to participating in this event; so if you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to Sarah Schultz at sarahschultz57@hotmail.com for more information.  Thank you!

PSSA TESTING 
Similar to previous years, students in 3rd through 5th grade will be taking the PSSA Assessment. The district dates for this assessment are as follows: ELA on April 23, 24 & 25, MATH April 29 & 30, and SCIENCE on May 1 and 2 (4th grade only).  No Educational Trip requests will be approved during these testing windows.
