Monroe News:

January 21 – NO SCHOOL

January 24 - The 4th and 5th grade Winter Concert at 7:00 pm in the Eagle View Middle School auditorium. Students should meet in the Eagle View cafeteria at 6:45 pm. Students are asked to please wear jeans or black pants and a RED or WHITE CV or Monroe t-shirt. * We will be singing the song “We Are the World 25 for Haiti”. This song was re-done in 2010 to raise money and awareness for Haiti’s fight to overcome various natural disasters. In 2019, more and more natural disasters continue to plague the country of Haiti. On the night of our concert, we hope to make a positive impact by collecting various items to donate and send with the Carlisle based AwakinHaiti organization that works with residents of Haiti. We are collecting the following items on the night of the concert. Please consider shopping with your child (ren) and donating some of these items!

Bar Soap
Shampoo and Conditioner
Lotion
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Dental FlossWash Cloths

January 25 – Monroe Mini-Mini-Thon

PTO News:

Thank you to everyone who attended our PTO meeting and informational session. Hope to see you again on March 19th!

Knowledge-A-Thon: Testing will be January 29th and 30th. Volunteers are needed to test students. Any questions, contact Steph Gettys.

  • From the Nurse:

  • If you received a letter regarding a missing dental exam for your child, please send the response back to the nurse ASAP. I need to know how many students will be visiting with the school dentist for their exam.

We continue to go outside for recess in the winter months. Please make sure your child is properly dressed and has a coat (and hat and gloves!) to wear.
