From the Nurse:
P-L-E-A-S-E provide your student(s) with lip balm for their backpack or jacket pocket. We still have MONTHS to go of outdoor cold, dry air and indoor heating systems. This is a custodial/hygiene issue such as combing hair and brushing teeth. Students should be encouraged to function independently and accept responsibility for lip care without missing class time. If only one student from each classroom came to the nurse for chapped lips it is still 21 students at the health suite for a non-medical issue.
From the PTO:
There will be a May Fair meeting for anyone interested in helping on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 6:30pm at the Starbucks in the Giant in Enola. We are still looking for chairs for the Large Raffle Baskets, Small Raffle Baskets, Children's Raffle Baskets, Food and Sweets Shop, Set-up and Tear Down and Games. Please help us make this year's May Fair the best ever.
One District, One Book
As our book Frindle comes to a close we are asking for families to send us a digital photo of your family reading. We would love to add a slideshow to the website capturing the wonderful success this book has been at CV! So ... grab the kids and a camera and send a pic to: [email protected]
