HAMPDEN WINTER CONCERT -- JANUARY 17
Our 4th and 5th Grade students are busily preparing for our Winter Concert: Pirates 2.  The concert will be held on Thursday, January 17 at Eagle View Middle School.  If you are attending the concert, you may arrive early to obtain your seats; however, 4th and 5th grade students are not permitted in the cafeteria for pre-show warm-up until 6:40 PM.  Until then, students must remain under a parent's/guardian's supervision.  Following the concert, students should be picked up by one parent/guardian from the Eagle View cafeteria -- this is for the students' safety and security.  Dress Code for 4th & 5th Graders:  Unless your student is playing a native of the island, it is encouraged that he/she dress as a pirate.  Please note: Accessories resembling weapons such as swords/guns are not permitted.  Hope to see everyone there -- Yo Ho Ho!

AVOIDING ILLNESS AT SCHOOL
Germs are as common in schools as the ABCs and 123s.  And, with so many kids together in one place, those germs are sure to be shared.  Fortunately, there are many steps you and your child can take to help stop illness in its tracks.  From food poisoning to the flu, click on the interactive graphic below and learn tips that can help your child stay a little healthier this year.
