Have a Great Weekend, Hampden!

HAMPDEN ROLLER SKATING PARTY THIS WEEKEND!
The Hampden PTO is hosting its annual Roller Skating Party this Saturday, December 1, 4:30 - 6:30 PM at the Olympic Skating Rink (60 Shady Lane, Enola).  Come have a GLOWING fun time!  Admission is FREE; however, boxes of tissues and/or hand sanitizer will be accepted as a donation at the door.  Bring your own skates or rent a pair -- $1 for quads and $3 for roller blades.

ATTN: THIRD GRADE PARENTS -- NOTE FROM OUR NURSE
Pennsylvania School Health Law requires that all third graders have a dental examination on record with the school.  Dental forms can be found on the district website under Student Services/Nurses/Health Forms -- Click Here.  Please contact our school nurse, Elaine Daly, at 717-737 4513, Option 3 or  email [email protected] if you have any questions or difficulty with the form or the exam. Thank you!

PLEASE DRESS YOUR CHILDREN WARMLY
Please remember to send your children to school dressed appropriately! Students will go out for recess if the temperature (with wind chill) is 17 degrees or higher. This is a guideline for all  CV Elementary Schools. Students will not be permitted to go outside without a coat/jacket if it is below 45° (or the feels like temperature is 45°). If you have a student who doesn’t have a coat, he/she should be sent to the office with a book to read. The office will keep data for the students who don’t wear a coat. If it is continuous, Mrs. Henry will call parents. Thank you for helping to ensure that all of our Hampden Dragons are dressed appropriately for the colder weather!

School Back in Session -- January 2
