Monroe News:

Share Table - A new program was implemented at Monroe this week called the Share Table. This program is intended to help reduce food waste in the cafeteria. Please read the flier for more information about this program.

 
Upcoming Events:

December 10 – Giving Tree gifts are due. Please remember to wrap the gift and attach the ornament to the outside of the package.

PTO News:

December 14 – Club Holiday – Registration and payment (checks payable to Monroe PTO) are due on Monday, December 3. Volunteers are still needed. Please email Robyn or Janice if you are able to help.

December 17 – Cookie Exchange – We are having a cookie exchange for the Monroe staff. Staff members are able to hand-pick a box of their choice of cookies to enjoy with their families during the holiday! If you would like to contribute, please return the completed cookie flier by Monday, December 10. Contact Wendy or Kelly with questions.

From the Nurse:

In order to better care for the students at Monroe, please let me know if your child is absent due to a serious illness (strep throat, pneumonia, flu, etc.). You can notify me via the attendance phone line, via email to [email protected] or by sending a written note upon their return to school.

A reminder – the students continue to go outside for recess during the winter months. Please be sure your child is appropriately dressed for the weather and has a coat to wear when going outside for recess.
