Sporting Hill Bulldogs - Learning to BE a better version of ME!
Possible Bus Delays
Pennsylvania American Water will be installing a new water main along Sporting Hill Road in Hampden Township, beginning Monday, September 24, which will likely impact traffic in the area. Construction will take place along Sporting Hill Road between Carlisle Pike and East Trindle Road. The first phase of construction is expected to take three-to-four weeks, weather permitting, and work hours will be Monday through Friday between 7 am and 5 pm. Motorists are urged to provide extra time and exercise caution when traveling through the area during construction hours. After phase one is completed, work crews will transition to overnight hours from Sunday nights through Thursday mornings between 6 pm and 6 am. We expect to complete the new main installation, and connection of customers’ service lines by the end of November, weather permitting. You will be notified prior to any emergency water service interruptions. During construction, customers might experience cloudy or discolored water. If your water is discolored, run your cold water faucet until it runs clear. This should typically take only a few minutes. For more information, and a map of the affected area log on to our website at www.pennsylvaniaamwater.com, and select Alert Notifications. Thank you for your patience while we make this $1.2 million-dollar improvement to provide the community with better water service.
