CV Mini-THON
Couch to 5K
What is it?
A nine-week training program with Mr. and Mrs. Rupp starting Tuesday, September 11th to prepare families for the CV Mini-THON Turkey Trot. Elementary school/middle school students are required to register and train with a guardian. This program will include training every Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Chapman field.
How do I register for the Couch to 5K Training?

When is the Turkey Trot?
Saturday, November 17th!
Doors open at 8:00 AM and the race starts at
9:00 AM! The cost is $30/participant.
All proceeds will go to CV Mini-THON. FTK!
PTO News
Needed: Six mailers per student
Sporting Hill PTO understands that the first few weeks of school is a crazy time of year. We added to that by sending out the Race for Education mailers on the FIRST day of school! In order to continue to provide activities and resources to our community, we need your help. Please send in at least six mailers per student to help us reach our goal.
As a reference point: In FIVE days, we have collected the same number of mailers that we collected in ONE day in previous years. We need your participation!
In addition, if we receive 3,500 mailers as a school, then every student at Sporting Hill can get something from the Prize Wagon on September 20th and 21st!
The deadline for mailers is Friday, September 14th. Please fill out the mailers that were sent home with your child and return them to school…the sooner the better!
The Sporting Hill PTO really appreciates your participation and your family’s donations! Our students and teachers are thankful for all the PTO does…Let’s keep it up!
