Hello, Summer!

The Scholastic Book Fair in May sold over $4000 in books, which means our students received the same in FREE BOOKS! Thank you to ALL of the many volunteers that made this possible!

This summer we are again partnering with Scholastic Books for their summer reading competition. We are encouraging students to read books reflective of their interests, and logging those minutes at Scholastic.com/summer. Students will be able to log minutes read through September 7, 2018.

Students will need to log-in individually, and they will do so using their CV Student ID# and individual password. Passwords will be posted on the CV GHMS PTO Summer Reading page shortly.

Last year GHMS was #53 in PA for the school with the most minutes read. This year, we are encouraging students to keep reading and logging, in order to be in the TOP 50! Students will be able to see the full minutes read by all students enrolled on the Scholastic.com/summer page. By following as a whole school rather than individuals, we will be able to get updates from Scholastic throughout the summer as to our ranking.
