Good Morning Middlesex Families,

The year’s end always brings with it a tremendous sense of accomplishment.  So many wonderful things have been accomplished at Middlesex this year!  From Back to School Night, Our Ice Cream Social, and Fall Festival, near the beginning of the year, to Family Skating Nights, Our Middlesex Musical, “Annie”, Holiday Shoppe, Mini-Thon, Family Bingo Night, in the middle of the year, to the Mountain Lion March, Field Day, Environmental Education Days, BizTown, Family Fun Night, the Talent Show, many field trips, classroom parties, Superhero of the Month Assemblies, concerts, and our Celebration of Success Ceremonies for Kindergarten and 5^th graders at the end of the year– our students have been involved in an extraordinary number of amazing activities.  Of course, we cannot forget the tremendous amount of learning that has also taken place during the year. Students should be so proud of the dedication, perseverance, and determination that they exhibited as they learned new grade level material and standards. Throughout all of these activities our students have demonstrated great character!

As always, it has been such a privilege to work with all of your children and watch them grow in so many wonderful ways this year. Thank you for sharing your children with us each day. At Middlesex, we are so fortunate to have such a strong collaborative team of staff, students, families, PTO members, community members, district administrators, and board members working together to get the job done well! Thank you to everyone for your hard work.

To our 5^th graders- congratulations on your achievements and making Middlesex proud.  We wish you all the best as you move to the middle school. To our families- if this is your last child to leave Middlesex, we would like to personally thank you for your support and for the guidance that you have provided for your child(ren) throughout their elementary journey.

We hope that you enjoy the change of pace that the summer brings. During the summer the office will be closed on Fridays, starting on June 29^th until July 27^th.  Office hours will be flexible over the summer, so please call ahead prior to coming in to ensure that someone will be in the office (717) 249-5586. Have a happy, relaxing, and safe summer with your child(ren). We look forward to seeing everyone upon our return for the 2018-2019 school year on August 27^th.
