May 6, 2018 - It's a great week to be a Sporting Hill Bulldog!
May Fair
Sporting Hill's annual May Fair will be Friday, May 11 (rain or shine). In order to make this event a huge success for our students, we need your help. Please consider volunteering your time; sign up here: https://www.timetosignup.com/sphpto/sheet/1261911
Pick-up and drop off procedures will be slightly different from May 9 - 11. Buses will be dropping off and picking up from the front of the school. Therefore, if you are dropping off or picking up you will drive through Sporting Hill's side parking lot. Students will be dropped off at the end of sidewalk that leads to the front door. There will be staff members out in the morning and afternoon assisting with this process. Thank you in advance for your patience!
Did you order discounted tickets for Hershey Park through the PTO? They have arrived! Please stop by the office as soon as possible to pick up your tickets. As a reminder, we CANNOT send tickets home with your student(s). They must be picked up by an adult. If you have any questions, please email Sarah at [email protected].
Executive Board Nominations
At the April PTO Meeting, the following people were nominated to serve on
the PTO Board for the 2018/19 school year.

• Vice President - Maria Petrilak
• Treasurer - Camille Wenger
• Secretary - Cindy Heidelbaugh
We will be voting on these nominees at the May meeting so please plan to
attend and make your voice heard. If you have any questions before the meeting,

Last Day of School
The last day of school will be May 30 for elementary students only. Students will be at school on May 30 all day (this is not a half day). There is no school for elementary students ONLY on May 31 and June 1 (essentially making May 30, a full day, the last elementary student day).

EARLY DISMISSAL: Due to inclement weather, all Cumberland Valley School District Schools will dismiss early today, March 20, 2018. Middle schools will dismiss at 1:45 p.m., CV High School will dismiss at 2:00 p.m., and elementary schools and extended day kdg will dismiss at 2:35 p.m. Extended Day Kindergarten will ride home on their morning bus with all elementary students. Lunches will be served. All after school and evening activities are cancelled. As always, please visit our website for the most up-to-date information. Thank you.
