Hello Middlesex Families,
Happy St. Patrick's Weekend! WOW! What an exciting Thursday we had celebrating our success as a building of being responsible, respectful, ready, and safe! The BIG Reward was such a fun time for students and staff. The message displayed throughout the laser show encouraged ongoing positive behaviors from all students and, reinforced that it takes a TEAM of students and staff to be successful in a building!!! SPRING PICTURE VOLUNTEERS:
Spring pictures at Middlesex will be March 20th. If you are interested in volunteering to assist students during this day, please click here to sign up for a time to volunteer. A reminder that every student will get their picture taken on this day. If you are planning on purchasing a class photo, you should send money in on the 20th. However, there is no need to send in any other money for individual pictures on the 20th. Sometime in April, pictures that were taken will be given out to every child and then families will have the option to purchase individual pictures at this time. If you are not interested in purchasing the photos, you should return the package back to school.
UPDATE ON MOUNTAIN LION MARCH:
March Superhero results- Woo-hoo! Way to go 4th grade! 4th grade jumped past 1st, 2nd and 5th to take 2nd place, only 1 SUPERHERO behind our leaders, kindergarten. However, 3rd grade can still make it to the front because only a few SUPERHERO papers separate the classes. We have three more weeks to go in our contest, so get those sponsorship SUPERHERO papers coming in. Stayed tuned for another update before we leave for Spring break. As always, thank you for your support of our students, staff, and PTO events.
2018-19 Middlesex Elementary Kindergarten Registration this Coming Thursday, March 22nd:
Middlesex Elementary School is looking for kindergarten students for the 2018-19 school year. Students need to turn 5 years old on, or before September 1, 2018. To begin the registration process, go to http://www.cvschools.org/about_us/central_registration/2018-2019_kindergarten_registration. Middlesex Kindergarten Registration will be March 22nd at Middlesex. If you have any questions, please contact the Middlesex Office or Central Registration at 717-506-3399 or [email protected].
PTO Updates...
Thank you to our PTO Board for coming together this week to discuss and plan for upcoming events at Middlesex. Click here to view the minutes from the meeting. If anyone is interested in getting more involved with the PTO, and would like to be part of the executive board (president, vice-president, secretary, or treasurer) please reach out to the school office, Mrs. Eldridge, or a PTO Board Member. We are currently in need of additional board members to ensure that what the PTO does for Middlesex continues to be strong!!
