Girls On The Run Food Drive

Our SpH Girls on the Run team is holding a food drive to provide food to families in our school.  The food collected will be added to our power packs just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday!  The collection box is located by the bus loop and the food drive will last until Friday, November 15.  Our girls are looking for non-perishable food items that can be eaten on or after the holiday.  Some examples include: instant mashed potatoes, canned vegetables, rice, cereal, tuna, peanut butter, etc.  Thank you for helping to give back to our families at Sporting Hill.

Little Library Twitter

Last month a hawk landed on our Little Library.  It just happened that a few teachers were leaving the building and got a great shot of our visitor.  It was tweeted on our Twitter page and then the PA Department of Education retweeted it!  Check it out!
