Photographs wanted for Wall of Honor
Published on Oct 27, 2017 09:10

The Patriot's Club at Cumberland Valley High School will construct a Wall of Honor in the Eagle Lobby to honor the veteran and active duty service members of our high school. The wall will feature photos of CVHS students' family members, CVHS alumni, and CVHS faculty who are serving, or have served our country.

Any high school student can submit a photo of a family member (parent, sibling, grandparent) along with their rank and branch of service. Patriot's Club students will assemble the Wall of Honor in preparation for the annual Veterans Appreciation Ceremony.

Students can submit photos electronically by going clicking here to complete the form. NOTE: Students MUST use their school email account to sign in and access the form.

If the photo cannot be submitted electronically, students can also bring photos to Mrs. Gargiulo in the Supervisors Office Area located across from Room 274; where photos will be copied and returned. Please put your photo in an envelope with the students' name and homeroom for the return process. Deadline to submit photos in either format will be Friday, November 3rd.

CVHS Patriot's Club will be presenting their second annual Veterans Appreciation Ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 9.

A ceremony featuring the talents of CVHS students, along with our local elected officials, will be followed by a thank you reception for all military and active duty service members.
