October 11:  PTO Skating Party 6PM (Carlisle Sports Emporium)

October 10-13:   Fire Prevention Week

Come out to Chipotle on October 3 from 4:00-8:00pm and support the Eagles for a Cure team walking for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraiser. Chipotle will donate 50% of your purchase to the team. Present the attached flier (paper or digital) or simply tell them you are dining out to support the Eagles Team. You may also order on-line and request to pay in-store at time of check out. What better way to get a quick, delicious meal for your family on a busy Tuesday evening?

Counselor’s Corner:  Silver Spring is becoming a Mindful School! Our children are practicing putting on mindful bodies and focusing on breathing as a way to be aware of what is happening in the present moment. In the process, they are discovering how calm and peaceful their classrooms and their bodies become. Ask your child to teach you how to do it!!
