THE RAINFOREST IS COMING!

Snakes, monkeys, kinkajous, beautiful parrots, macaws, amazons and cockatoos from around the world are all coming to Mechanicsburg.

Arrangements gave been made for an appearance of Understanding Wildlife's "LIVE ON STAGE, THE RAINFOREST" to appear in our community. This will take place at Hampden Elementary on Tuesday, October 10 at 6:30 pm.

Understanding Wildlife is a non-profit organization that travels from California to New York City with this incredible rainforest program. Animal trainers will make a presentation during the day for all students and will explain how energy conservation and recycling can help save the beautiful animals of the rainforests.

Then at 6:30 pm, a wildly entertaining program will be put on for your entire family. Students will be able to interact with a few of these magnificent creatures. Flying macaws, talking amazons, and very mischievous monkeys will keep you laughing all night long.

The cost for the program is five dollars per person. (Children under 3 years old are admitted for free). Plan now to attend and please, all children must be accompanied by an adult. This is an event that will be enjoyed by the entire family. Flyers will be coming home next week with more details!
