Back to School Nights and other Info

Below is some information about upcoming events at Good Hope...
- BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHTS - Just a reminder that the Good Hope 6th Grade Back to School Night is tomorrow night
at 7:00PM (Thurs Aug 31). The event is for parents/guardians only; students do not attend. Please remember to ask your child his/her
homeroom number. The program will begin promptly at 7:00PM - Parents will report directly to their student's homeroom, where they will receive a copy of their child's schedule. Parents
can park in any of the Good Hope or Hampden lots. After homerooms, parents will
follow their child's schedule, visiting each class for 8 minutes. Parents are
also encouraged to stop by the lobby to visit the PTO table and get information
about upcoming events and ways to volunteer. The 7th/8th
Grade Back to School Night is next Thursday, Sept 7 at 7:00PM
and will follow a similar procedure.
- 6TH GRADE PARTY - is next Friday, Sept 8 from
3:00-4:30pm. Tickets are $2 and can be purchased in the lobby before homeroom all next
week, or at the door on Friday afternoon. Drinks,
and snacks will be sold in the cafeteria for an additional price (cash only).
There will be music in the commons for dancing, and there will be activities in
the gym and outside if weather permits. Parents should arrive promptly at
4:30pm to pick up their child (pick up at the gym end of the building
[east]). All proceeds benefit Good Hope Student Council projects such as the
Fall Food Drive. We are in need of parent volunteers to
donate a snack or drink. Click HERE

- PICTURE DAY - is next Thursday/Friday Sept 7 & 8. Photos
are taken during your child's SOAR class. All students are required to
have their picture taken for student ID and yearbook purposes, but are not
obligated to purchase photos. Payment is due during this time for families who
are purchasing photo packages, and should be given directly to the photographer
when the photo is taken. Order forms will come home with students early next
week. Extra forms will be available in the main office. We need parent
volunteers to help out with pictures! Click HERE
