BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

As a reminder, parents of students in Grades 1-5 are invited to our Back to School Night tonight, August 24.  Please join our teachers and staff to receive a special welcome from our PTO and Mrs. Henry followed by presentation in your child's classroom with the homeroom teacher.  To ease congestion and parking we have split the evening into 2 sessions:

6:00 pm -- Grades 1 and 2
7:00 pm -- Grades 3, 4, and 5

Please note that this evening is designed for parents only.


ATTENDANCE UPDATE

The State of PA has updated the attendance policies for public schools.  Please note:
-- Families need to send in an excuse note when their child is absent.
-- When an excuse note is note received the office, each day of a multi-day absence is considered unlawful.
-- Consecutive days will no longer be grouped together as one absence but rather counted as separate occurrences for attendance purposes.
-- One note is all that is needed for a single day or multi-day absence - just list each date of absence on the note.
