CVSD unveils Web site's new look Cumberland Valley School District on Oct. 29 unveiled a facelift to its Web site. The site builds upon the extensive content that is already available at www.cvschools.org. The redesigned site incorporates many of the same features as the existing site, only in a more user-friendly design. As you have noticed, the homepage includes “Quick Links” and navigation tabs, as in the former site. Scrolling news continues to appear to the right of the home page, with a new spotlight feature in the center. New to the look is the addition of “portals” -- an entrance to a mini homepage for a targeted audience. There are portal pages for students, parents, community, and staff. The portals include direct links to some of the most common CV Web site pages for that specific group of users. Approximately 30,000 to 35,000 unique visitors utilize Cumberland Valley’s Web site each month. Those visitors routinely view more than 1 million pages on the site each month.
