Information regarding H1N1 vaccine Once the vaccinations begin to arrive, Cumberland Valley School District will offer the H1N1 vaccine to students who have completed consent forms on file. Packets of information regarding the vaccine and consent were distributed to elementary students in mid-October and will be hand-carried home by secondary students on either Oct. 23, 26 or 27. Consent and refusal forms for the vaccine were due back to the schools for elementary students on Oct. 15. Deadline for return of signed forms for secondary students is Nov. 2. Materials contained within these packets are available for review by clicking here . If you accept vaccination, the vaccine will be given to your child as it becomes available to the district. While the district may only receive 24 to 48 hours advance notice of an expected shipment of the vaccine, we will make every attempt to provide parents with notification when medical staff is scheduled to begin administering the vaccine.
