Welcome to the Middlesex Elementary School, home of the Mountain Lions. I am pleased that you took the time to visit our web page.

Our school is located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, about 20 miles west of Harrisburg, the state capital.

Middlesex has approximately 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The students are very involved in many activities; school plays, band, chorus, intramurals, after school foreign language clubs, Colonial Days, and much more.

Middlesex was built in 1999, and we are very proud of it. It took 3 years to plan and construct and has a full size gymnasium, a TV studio for kids called LION TV, and an awesome playground. Middlesex also has a great environmental trail which you can read about on our webpage.

The staff and I work with the students to help them develop respect for others, respect for our school, and respect for themselves. We hope to nurture the entire child and assist them on their journey to being life long learners.

We have a wonderful PTO which provides many opportunities for our school community to experience. Activities like, Family Bingo, roller skating parties, and a school fair are just a few of the events that take place during the school year. Our PTO is made up of special people who make special things happen at Middlesex.
