Cumberland Valley High School is embracing the challenge of coordinating and hosting a Central Pennsylvania Youth Ethics Symposium on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 2010. By encouraging local youth to be cognizant of the “content of their character”, our intent is to honor the spirit and message of Martin Luther King Jr. with this event. Furthermore, our hope is that young people will be empowered through this experience to make daily decisions that impact society in a constructive manner.
The Youth Ethics Symposium (YES), which would be the first of its kind in Central Pennsylvania, would provide a medium to enhance the character of young people. We hope you will consider participating in this opportunity to expose students to the role ethics plays in life.
Contact Donna Benson if you would like an invitation to this event.
