There will be a meeting of the Latin Club on Monday, November 23 at 3:00 in room 287. See Sarah Headley or Magistra Lloyd if you wish to have pizza at the meeting 11/24 Attention students interested in the Forensic Science Club. We will be having a CSI Pizza Party to kick off the club. The meeting will be on Tuesday, December 8th and will last from 3:10-4:10pm. If interested, please sign up outside room 147 or email Miss Vathis. The party will be in room 147. Dues will be $3 for the year. Hope you can make it! 11/20 On Monday, November 23. Come out and support CV Boys Basketball! There will be a Fundraiser Dinner at Texas Roadhouse (located at 1101 Lower Allen Drive, Camp Hill) 10% of each check will be donated to the booster club, for those who mention our team or present our coupon. 11/20 Attention Club Green/FFA/ & other interested parties: Club Green and the FFA along with Trout Unlimited will be working on the Riparian Buffer Project planting over 100 native trees this Saturday November 21, from 9 on until all trees are planted at the buffer site on Spangler Mill Road in Camp Hill. As many of you know, the design of this project was proposed to the Fish and Boat Commission by three of CV students. The work day will start at 9:00 AM and go until all trees are planted. There is a sign up sheet in the Ag room for the Club Green, FFA members, and anyone willing to pitch in. Parents are more than welcome to join in on the fun, just let Mr. Biddle or Mrs. Hornung know. The sign up sheet will have two hour intervals, but you are more than welcome to stay more than one interval or all day! Plan for cooler weather and bring gloves. If you don't get a chance to sign up you can meet us there! 11/23 On Monday November 23rd., Lauren Bullis, 2007 Carlisle graduate and West Point Cadet, will be in the guidance office during 2nd and 3rd periods. This is a great opportunity to hear first hand what life is like at the military academy. See if you have what it takes to become a West Point Cadet. Be sure to stop by the guidance office for a pass to attend this informative session 11/23 Club Green will be meeting on Monday 11/23 after school in room 144. We will be having a guest speaker who is a former Cumberland Valley graduate of the class of 2007 and the President of ECO (Environmentally Conscious Organization) on campus at IUP. Please attend for our Thanksgiving meeting and snacks! 11/20 ATTENTION ALL COLLEGE BOUND SENIORS PLEASE WATCH YOUR COLLEGE DEADLINES. THE PRIORITY DATE FOR PENN STATE UNIVERSITY IS November 30TH. PENN STATE REQUIRES THE HIGH SCHOOL TO SUBMIT OUR DOCUMENTS BY THAT November 30TH DATE. WE WILL NOT BE PROCESSING ANY COLLEGE APPLICATIONS OVER THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.
