9-2 Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Tennis Team for their victory on the blistering hot tennis courts yesterday afternoon. The Lady Eagles beat Susquehanna Township by a score of 5-2.Come out this afternoon and watch the Eagles attempt to make it 16 straight conference victories, as they face Cedar Cliff.

9/2 Attention all members of the CV STILES club from last year...if you are interested in being an officer during this school year, please plan to attend an informational meeting after school on Thursday, September 2nd at 3:00 in Room 244.  If you are interested, but can not attend this meeting, see Mrs. Stoshack in the 11/12 Humanities Planning Center.  Thank you!

9/2 Reminder to all SENIORS:   If who have not had a picture taken for the YEARBOOK you need to sign up on the poster board outside the Senior office TODAY.   The photographer will be in the PAC on Wednesday, September 15.  $25 in cash or check will be accepted at that time.  This will be your LAST CHANCE to be photographed for the senior section of the 2011 Argus.

9-2 Are you interested in animals?  What about plants or landscaping?  Have a passion for leadership?  Want to be a role model for others?  If you answered YES to any or all of these questions and are in an Ag Class, you should come to the first FFA meeting this Tuesday, September 7th.  It will be held in the Ag Room (138) after school.  AND, we'll have FREE FOOD too!  Activity buses will be running, so you don't have to worry about a ride home.  Come check us out - FFA is more than cows, sows, and plows.  See Mr. Woods in Room 138 - the Ag room -  for more details

9/2 Attention student drivers:

Silver Spring Township Police have notified the school that students are parking the wrong way on Legend Lane and the other streets just off campus.  Patrol units will start ticketing if this continues.

9-7 Attention all students:

Activity buses will begin to run starting Tuesday, September 7.  The buses will run every Monday through Thursday and will leave the bus loop at 4:15.

9-7 Juniors interested in running for class officer must pick up an application at the 11th grade office starting today, Wednesday September 1st. Completed applications MUST be returned to the 11th grade office by the close of school on Wednesday September 8th. No exceptions!

9-8 The first National Honor Society meeting of the year will be held on Wednesday, September 8th during period 5 in the auditorium.  Again, there will be an NHS meeting on Wednesday, September 8th during fifth period.  Please see Mr. Ensminger or Mrs. Dominick if you can not attend

9-9 Looking for a part-time job?  Are you at least 17 years old?  Metro Bank is now hiring part-time teller positions.  Flyers are available outside Mrs. Consevage's office, which is across from Room 283.
