College Recruiting

College coaches will start coming into the school after the new year to start identifying players for their next recruiting class. I will be recommending players to these coaches based on your ability. Please understand that I will only recommend you if I feel you can possibly play at that level.

Steps for the player to start thinking about.

1) Let Coach Whitehead know you want to play in college.

2) Make sure all info is on HUDL and if applicable Highlights

3) Check your academics, NCAA approved courses

4) Take SAT/ACT Test

5) Register with NCAA Clearinghouse

6) Attend Football camps at a college. Coaches like to see you in person.
