This month, families will be receiving a letter in their mailboxes that further explains the redistribution plan and provides links as to where more information may be reviewed.

November 23, 2015 - UPDATE
On November 23, 2015, the Board of School Directors approved administration's recommendation for redistribution of students.
You may click here to view the redistribution proposal. Please read below for information on the redistribution process. More information will be sent home to our families in early 2017.
October 27, 2015 - Update
- Effective date: Start of 2017-2018 school year
- Who: Silver Spring Elementary School (identified neighborhoods) to Monroe Elementary School
Phase II (specific neighborhoods listed on Appendix A: Summary by Neighborhood in the presentation)
- Effective date: Start of 2018-2019 school year
- Who: District-wide redistribution spread across existing elementary and middle schools, and into the newly constructed elementary school.
(October 20, 2015) - Redistribution Committee meeting dates
Cumberland Valley School District will hold public meetings at
7 p.m. on Monday, October 26, and
Monday, November 2, 2015, to discuss redistribution of students. Please be aware that the Redistribution Committee meetings will take place in the
cafeteria at Eagle View Middle School (6746 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg).
Redistribution of students is necessary due to both continued enrollment increases and construction of the new elementary and middle schools.
The meetings will include an administrative presentation to the Redistribution Committee of the Board of School Directors, in addition to time for public comment. An agenda will be posted on
BoardDocs in advance of each meeting.
